As a group, our combined skills and backgrounds allow us to tackle complex situations from a holistic point of view.  With collaboration, the result will be more than the sum of each single research and provide a holistic understanding of housing situation in a rapidly urbanising secondary city. 

Through our research we aim understand various aspects of housing provision and the impact of participation in housing programs towards creating liveable cities for all. We are young practitioners, with experience in: design and construction of low- income housing; research and advisory for urban policy; development of regional platforms in urban topics; research on livelihoods in informal settlements and urban villages. As individuals, we believe that, for effective practice, generation of knowledge through research from various perspectives is crucial to change the urban realities for the better.

The research will be conducted under the aegis of IHS  and ACHR . IHS is forerunner in the field of urban research and advisory , with over 60 years of experience in combining theory and practice to make cities work. ACHR is championed to work with grassroot organisations and governments across Asia and committed to achieve housing rights for all.
