Troop K Fundraiser - Thaddeus

Donation protected
On May 1st, members from the NYSP - Troop K will be running in the NJ full & half marathon in an effort to raise money for a very special little boy. Sergeant Charles Harklerode, a 10 year veteran of the NY State Police will be running the half-marathon with his 7 year old son Thaddeus. Thaddeus suffers from a rare seizure disorder known as Ohtahara Syndrome. He suffers multiple seizures daily and the disorder is characterized by severe developmental delays that affect his ability to walk, talk, eat and even breath. As such Thaddeus requires round the clock care, and has been hospitalized countless times. Thanks to the generosity of the  Union Vale Fire Company Community Support Fund, Thaddeus will be outfitted and equipped with a special running wheel chair so him and his father can partake in this event.  A trust has been established in his name to assist with the numerous expenses that are associated with his needs. All funds raised will be transferred to his trust. Please consider making a donation to support this inspiring and amazing little boy. On behalf of the NYSP - Troop K, THANK YOU!!!!!
