Wheels For All: Bikes for Homeless

Hello,
My name is Lucas Zellmer and I am currently a student at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Since arriving in La Crosse, I was immediately introduced to the reality that is homelessness and poverty within the city and surrounding area.
Recently, I started a small non-profit, Wheels For All, that aims to put single-speed bicycles into the hands of those that need it the most. Keeping simplicity and durability in mind, I choose to convert bikes to single speeds in an attempt to provide people with a means of transportation that requires as little maintenance as possible.
The bikes that are given away promote exercise, provide the recipients a reliable means of transportation, and help instill a renewed sense of hope for the future. Every dollar raised will support our mission to enhance the lives of men, women, and children in the La Crosse area by giving them a bike.
