Investing in our Nation's Future

Silver Wings is a Professional, Honorary, Service Organization dedicated to creating civilian leaders in and civic awareness for National Defense. More than half a century after the founder of our sister squadron, the Andrew D. Turner Squadron at Det. 130, we are finally establishing a Silver Wings Chapter in our Nation's Capital and the heart of the Defense Community. 

The Eleanor Roosevelt Capital Chapter will strive to bring together students from all over D.C. who care about National Defense, and provide them with opportunities to integrate and jump into the National Defense Community and all that D.C. has to offer. This organization will be an outlet for growth, connections, civil service, and the building of some of our Nation's future leaders. 

Any money donated to this Chapter will be used to defray membership cost, and Conclave travel cost to the members, who are all college students dreading a future of student loans, but with a passion for keeping our country strong. Every penny makes a difference and we thank all of those who support us monetarily, with morale, with opportunities, and in every other way possible. We couldn't do any of this alone.
