Teodor's Farm

I want you to meet my friend, Teodor Katrandzhiev.  He is a young farmer and student from Dobrich, Bulgaria.   I have never met anyone more optimistic or hardworking than Teodor.   Four years ago he put every penny he could gather to begin a small farming operation with hopes of slowly growing year by year.  He has faced many obstacles over the years from lack of government promised funding, to weather, to failing and old equipment,  yet he never gives up because his calling in life is to farm the land and support his future.   After a disappointing crop yield last year, due to a long drought and insufficient water supply system Teodor finds himself once again struggling to purchase crop starts and keeping his equipment viable.   But the situation becomes even more dire this season because he discovered recently that his tractor has been vandalized and is inoperable.  Local thieves have been stripping his equipment.   Yet, he continues against national economical odds, equipment failure and now thieves.  His optimism will not allow him to stop working to be a success in his field but he needs our help.   He is not asking for help to purchase new equipment, only to make the repairs that he needs to make to have a chance.  The need is dire as he has to get his crops in now!    I have personally worked along side this young man and watched him put in 20 hours days doing the work of five people.   His crops are beautiful and he has such a strong drive to bring quality food to the local markets.   We don't understand what it is like to struggle.  We think we do,  but until you have lived in a country where the odds are always against you, we truly have no idea.    If you would like more information on Teodor and his farm, please message me.  If you cannot help financially,  please share his story with your friends,  maybe they are in a position to help.   Every dollar counts......no amount is too small or unappreciated.  Thank you, sincere thanks and blessings as you help others be blessed.
