Hi, my name is Aleesha Barlow, President of Tell Somebody, Inc.
Growing up, I was molested by my maternal grandfather. At age 6, I told my mother and her 2 sister's that their dad was touching my body. They told me to keep it a secret from my dad and the police. They said they threatened my grandfather with prison time if he did it again. I was still brought around my grandfather, and the molestation continued. I didn't tell again because I thought nothing would be done. Children have to be taught to "Keep Telling." 20 Years Later, I created Tell Somebody, Inc. An organization that works toward ending child abuse of any kind. My 8 year old daughter and I travel and speak at schools and events, educating young children about their body, and encouraging them to "Tell Somebody" if they are being hurt or touched. We are here to bring Awareness to parents that molestation DOES happen and 95% of the time this is being done by a family member or close friend. We are also giving strength to other survivors to tell their story, no matter how long its been, so they can heal. Seek therapy or counseling, if needed!

My daughter and I, just turned our movement into a NON-Profit Organization, so we can expand and reach our full potential! Our end goal is to turn into a 501(c)(3) and have a "Tell Somebody" chapter in EVERY state, and get the help of other survivors to run these chapters and SAVE lives! We NEED YOUR HELP THOUGH! We are raising money to go towards the 2017-2018 year. I've done everything on my own and now realize that I need help to reach my goals. Your charitable donations will go towards licensing, business growth, and travel costs. This will give me the help that I need to get into as many schools as I can, and reach as many parents and children in communities worldwide, and save millions of lives. This is what I was put on the earth to do, my life's purpose.
Help me get one step closer to stopping child abuse!Even if you are not able to donate, please talk to your children, about their bodies and their private areas, and how no one should touch them there. They need to know, to Tell Somebody if ANY thing is going on.
