My new book is ready, it is a book of poetry called "I WALK THE LAND" about being in the wild environment and our relationship with natural world. A photograph is shown along with each poem of the beautiful landscapes of Scotland. For a donation of £10 you will receive a copy of the book posted to you.

From the book, a poem:
Meditation on the Stow Common
I have carved out a gap
In my schedule to answer
Something deep in myself
That calls me back to the Wild.
My usual place, high on the moor.
Just watching the weather change
Four grouse lifted as I walked up
The larks are quiet but here.
The heather is showing purple flowers
And tinges of beige gold,
Speak of the autumn of seed.
Chill wind from the north east, keen edge.
But for the sheep, this is
As it has been for millennia,
In constant flux, it cycles
Days, moons, seasons, years.
My sense of self dissolves
In the landscape as I sit,
And I soak up vitality
In each breath of clean air.
The stillness, the balance
Of the land in the late summer sun,
Is an embrace, a caress of me
An observer of the earth.
Time dwindles to a speck,
Of gentle and constant change.
From within this moment,
I feel connection with aeons of time.

"All my life I have experienced myself as different, in 2014 I received a diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome. Since then I have made sense of my work as an artist over 20 years by compiling a book - a visual exploration of the experience of Asperger's. I don't see this as an illness, only my brain works differently to the way most people's brains work. I see the world differently because of this. This book is how I came to terms with the way I see the world and the psychology of what I perceive."
