#TEAMTOPSY Now it's Nat's Turn

Our very own Nat has been dealt the worst possible hand in life at 38 years old.
Over the past year, she has been trying for a baby, which resulted in her & her partner visiting the doctors to go down the IVF route.
During these visits, she was diagnosed with an illness called Endometrial Hyperplasia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endometrial_hyperplasia
Basically, her womb lining was too thick and abnormal cells were found during testing. She was also told she had polycystic ovaries

All the odds were against her, yet she still ploughed on, doing live videos, coming into work and trying to help ladies with their confidence!
A couple of months ago, she was finally given a chance! She was treated with progesterone to help thinnen the womb lining and was referred to a professor who specialised in this department. Things were looking up and Nat was starting to feel positive again.
Last week, she was dealt the most horrific blow possible. Further precautionary tests had revealed that the muscle of the womb was cancerous and she was diagnosed with Endometrial Cancer (Womb Cancer) Stage 1b. This means the cancer is all the way through the womb wall but not yet to the cervix.

To make matters worse, her eggs are now so damaged due to these illnesses and conditions, she can no longer have them frozen.
Natalie will be having a procedure on 17th July, where she will be having her entire reproductive system removed including ovaries & cervix. Not only this, but at 38 years old she will begin a forced premature menopause which could potentially cause osteoporosis.

As well as the physical recovery of this (8 weeks potentially) Natalie will now need to begin grief counselling. Anyone who knows her, will know her one desire in life was to have children and this news is massively detrimental to her mental wellbeing . The emotional impact on her and her partner is enormous, not to mention the physical strain of recovering from major life changing surgery.

So, now it's our turn to help Nat.

She has battled through the last year, dealing with countless appointments and bad news, still managing to come to work daily and only having time off for doctors appointments. She has continued her valuable work with Topsy Curvy and Lovedrobe, trying to make people feel confident about themselves, whilst feeling the worst she has ever felt inside. And never letting an ounce of it show.

I want to raise money for her and her partner to have a break. After the treatment is over, and she is back on her feet physically and mentally, i think she deserves a treat.

So please please please, help support us by donating even just a pound! Although we can't take this horrible illness away from her, or give her the child she deserves, we can at least help her to get a break once she has the all clear.

Thank you and your generosity will never be forgotton
