My wife Christina, a mother of three,  was recently diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer, a very aggressive and rare form of cancer.  This diagnosis came only 3 weeks after the birth of our perfect and healthy son, Rollo Alexander.  She had been in pain for months while pregnant and visited the emergency room 8 times. Cancer, especially this form, is very difficult if not impossible to detect during pregnancy.   As you can imagine, we were crushed to learn about the diagnosis.  She has been home only 2 days since our son was born November 13 2015.  Though I sometimes think I live in a world where all things take care of themselves, that is simply not reality. I only recently realized that living in a hospital and all the testing and treatments for cancer are quite expensive and not completely covered by insurance.  My wife and I work very hard and own our own small business so it's extremely difficult for me to ask for or receive help..especially with finances.  However, this is not the time for me to be prideful. I know this is something we will need help with and so many people have surrounded us with support and genuinely want to help.  The money will be used to help cover the upcoming massive medical expenses.  We will only use what is necessary and donate all unused funds to St Judes Childrens Hospital or another highly reputable organization for kids with cancer.  It would bring us so much comfort to know that we can get the treatment needed to endure this and finances not be a hindrance.  We are extremely grateful for you all and appreciate beyond words anything you are willing to contribute. If money is not something you are able to contribute, we appreciate prayers.  At 8pm central every day, people from around the world are praying for Tina and her speedy recovery.
