My name is Megan and I have the honor and privilege of beings close friends with The Jayne Family. Kristin and Yvan's beautiful daughter, Sienna Rose, is the most precious and sweet little 4-and-half-year-old I know. But don't let those beautiful baby blues fool you - she's sassy as all get out.
Wednesday, February 22nd, The Jayne Family found themselves at Children's Medical Center in Dallas with their sweet girl in a most unexpected heart wrenching situation. What they initially thought was a concussion turned out to actually be a brain aneurysm. Yep, you read that right. Brain aneurysm in a 4-and-a-half-year-old. As you can imagine this is just the beginning of a long - but doable - journey for this family. Right now they're taking it minute by minute, hour by hour and day by day.
For the first year of her life I had the privilege of being Sienna’s nanny. Over the years I've been able to get to know this munchkin and one thing I know is that Sienna loves is her coins. I can hear her saying "Mae, where are my coins?" or "Come look at all my coins!" And I know she will be ecstatic to know how many "coins" we collect for her with everyone's help! Kristin and Yvan might have to get her a bigger piggy bank! Any money that will be donated to Sienna Rose's Collection of "Coins" will go toward her medical expenses and whatever extra costs that may pop up during what will most likely be a long recovery. It's not so much of "when" we would like to reach our goal but "why" we want to reach our goal of $80,000. For everyone who wishes they could do something to help The Jayne Family - donating to help lift the weight of how to pay for all of this craziness so they can keep their sole focus on their little girl is the second best thing you can do for them. The first will always be to keep them in your prayers!
