Erdheim Chester diease, Michael

Michael is a freshmen in highschool who recently recieved some unexpected news after a hospital visit to Children's National Medical Center. Michael was diagnosed with Diabetes Insipidus. When he had an MRI done to examine his brain for a possible cause, doctors notice 3 tumors. One caught the doctors attention specifically. It was near the pituitary gland and is thaught to be the cause of the DI. Doctors say it's cancer and have scheduled a biopsy to find out what type so they know where to begin with treatment. Treatment will be in D.C. and can last anywhere from 6 months to 1 year depending on how Michael handles it. Also D.C. is quite a drive from his home and with a baby on the way his family could use help getting to the hospital. Michael and his family would appreciate any donations (:
