Team Rodden: Noah's Battle with Leukemia

Donation protected
On May 31, 2019, Sean and Priscilla  received heart-breaking news.  Their oldest son, Noah was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).  Noah started receiving chemo treatment right away.  He has been at Valley Children's Hospital for the past 3 months and just finished his third round of chemo.  Due to a genetic mutation, Noah will have to receive a bone marrow transplant.  This is just the next step in ensuring a complete cure of leukemia.  The transplant process is scheduled to begin in mid October at UCSF. Noah will be there for at least 2-3 months for recovery and extended chemo treatment.  Although this has been a very difficult and challenging time for their family, they believe in the power of prayer and trust in God's plan for Noah. Priscilla is taking a leave of absence from her teaching position in Fresno Unified so that she may focus on Noah. Sean is continuing to provide for their family, working full time in his new administrative position with FUSD. During the next few months, the family will be in two different locations (Priscilla with Noah at UCSF and Sean with their youngest, Eli in Fresno).  They have had an outpouring of support from family, friends, co-workers and even strangers with caring hearts!

As a means to continue support and help with this next transition, we are setting up this GoFundMe to alleviate financial stressors.  We appreciate any donations, support and prayer for this amazing family!

The family has a CaringBridge website to share updates and information regarding Noah's journey:
