Team Ontario - Going to Nationals

Team Deschenes is officially Team Ontario!!

We are so excited to announce that our girls have made it to the National 2019 Canadian Under-18 Curling Championship, hosted by Curling Canada.

After a busy season and lots of hard work, they were undefeated at the Provincial Championship this past weekend, and will thus be representing Ontario at the Nationals. This is the culmination of all their efforts this season, including: 5 first place wins, 4 time semi-finalists, 2 semi appearances and 1 top 10 placement in a World Curling Tour event.

Nationals are being held in Sherwood Park Alberta, from April 2nd to 7th 2019. As you can imagine, arranging for flights, hotels, meals and other miscellaneous items for 5 team members, the coach, moms and dads, is a daunting task. Curling Canada is contributing to some of the travel costs for the team members, but there is still an enormous amount to cover. We are doing everything possible to allow our children to experience this opportunity of a lifetime, but we need your help. We are reaching out to friends, family and colleagues for support.
