Leigh -Anne Cox is the daughter of Adele and John Cox of Glace Bay. John is the first cousin of my husband Cliff and all funds raised will be going directly to Adele and John.
Leigh-Anne is a sweet and vibrant 12 year old who was enjoying everything a child should enjoy about Summer vacation when the unthinkable happened.
She had been having leg pain for weeks and what should have been simple growing pains for a girl her age has turned out to be bone cancer. She is heading to Halifax today with her family to start what will be a long and hard battle to beat this cruel disease.
Her family have so much to deal with at this time and they should have no other worries than to get Leigh-Anne well again. This is where Team Leigh- Anne comes in!!!
