Team Heather: Help Heather Fight Breast Cancer

Heather is a selfless and caring wife and mother of three. To know her you will agree that she is one of the most vibrant and positive people you’ll meet. She is a strong mother, sister, daughter, wife and friend. She has been the rock for so many of us and filled us with laughter when needed. On June 6, 2019 Heather was given the news that every woman fears and one that has completely shook her life and ours-“You have breast cancer.”
Luckily, change and challenges aren’t unfamiliar to Heather and she is a natural born fighter. Heather underwent a double mastectomy on Monday, June 17 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire and began her fight to kick cancer’s @$$!
As an independent childcare provider, her income will essentially cease to exist while she recovers and starts treatment because it’ll be too physically demanding. Heather is no stranger to hustling to make ends meet, but now it is time for her to rest and focus solely on her treatment and ridding her body of this cancer.
Now more than ever, Heather needs our help. She has a very long road ahead, but she knows that “She’s got this!” and “We’ve got this!”
The funding from your contributions will go directly towards assisting Heather and her family with basic living expenses, groceries, prescription costs, uninsured medical expenses, co-pays and any other needs directly related to her care.
We ask that if you can give, please do. There is no such thing as a small donation as every little bit is a blessing for her and her family. She will need all the love and support to carry her through. She has touched so many people with her spirit and her infectious laugh. It’s now our turn to show her how loved she is and give her the added strength needed to beat cancer.
