On December 12th, 2017, Kyle, James, Brian, and Philip will be stepping off of the dry land of La Gomera in the Canary Islands, embarking on one of the greatest endurance challenges on earth. For the next 40+ days they will be rowing a 9-meter- long boat 24 hours a day, equipped with all of the food, water, and navigation equipment they'll need to cross the Atlantic under their own power. Once they arrive in Antigua in the Caribbean, they will have been the first carbon neutral expedition to cross the Atlantic Ocean, as certified by The Carbon Trust.
Their passion for the environment goes beyond their carbon neutral pledge, the team will donate all of their proceeds to their charity, World Land Trust. As part of the team's fund raising campaign we are reaching out to friends, family and generous strangers to support this Carbon Zerow expedition and the exceptional work that World Land Trust conducts internationally.
To maximize the impact of our trans-Atlantic sojourn we have designed four reward levels so your contribution will support the missions of both Carbon Zerow and World Land Trust. The break-down for each tier is as follows:
Tree Hug ($25): $6.50 goes to World Land Trust and $18.50 to Carbon Zerow.
Three Trees ($50): $18.50 goes to World Land Trust and $31.50 to Carbon Zerow.
Land Guardian ($100): $32.50 goes to World Land Trust and $67.50 to Carbon Zerow.
