Chris Andrade, also affectionately known by many as Mr. A, is the principal of Christ Lutheran School in West Covina, CA. He is also a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, friend, and all around amazing person. He has dedicated the last 35 years, and counting, to the children and Families of CLS. Over the years, he has offered tremendous support and help to countless CLS Families in their time of need. While he is always the first to offer and give help, he is never the one to ask for help, even when it is needed. Now, more than ever, he needs our help!!
In late November 2019, Mr. A was, very unexpectedly, diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor. While surgeons were able to remove a portion of the tumor, they were not able to remove it completely. Since his procedure, he has endured some set backs and has had difficulty with mobility. He desperately needs a special electric lifting chair to help him get around. Mr. A is set to begin an intensive chemotherapy and radiation schedule at the end of January 2020. In an effort to help Mr. Andrade and his wife Michele during this very difficult time, our CLS Family would love to offer support with some of the financial burdens that they face. Our goal is for them to be able to fully focus on Mr. A's treatment and recovery, without having to worry about the financial stresses that come along with this type of diagnosis.
