TEAM ALEX: Help Alex Fight Breast Cancer

Alex is one of the sweetest, kindest and fun-loving people that we know.  She has a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone, but she wouldn’t dare ask anyone for anything ever.  That is why we have decided to share her story and ask for help.  

 

In early April Alex found a lump on her left breast, and by April 24th she was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer which can be very aggressive.  We now know her treatment plan will begin on May 2nd when she will go to her oncologist to have a port inserted in her chest which is how she will receive her chemo treatments for the next five months.  As you probably know, chemo has some grueling side effects and her oncologist told her that by her third treatment (at the end of May) she will lose all her hair. 

 

Alex is an elementary school teacher and we are asking fordonations to help purchase a wig for work.  Medical treatments of any kind are not cheap.  If you can make any sort of donation,we would greatly appreciate it. Even if you can’t help with a monetary donation, please feel free to share this with others.  Anything above our goal will go towards medical expenses.
