Team 6B FMS Community Fundraiser/Food Drive

To help our students learn about community service, Team 6B from Franklin Middle School Hamilton Street Campus will be hosting a food drive/fundraiser to help our school and our community.  Our fundraiser will collect food for the Franklin Food Bank,  and raise money to improve our student lounge through the Spirit of the Warrior program.   On Nov. 2nd from 9am to 12 noon, Team 6B will meet at the Hamilton Street Campus track.  For each lap a student completes we will donate 1 can to the Franklin Food bank.  Your monetary donation will go towards buying cans of food for the food bank, and also towards our goal of donating $250 to our student lounge.  Mr. Porter is donating to the fundraiser and will do 32 laps (8 miles) on the track.  You can help the fundraiser by sponsoring Mr. Porter with a suggested donation of $4 (50 cents per mile) or your own amount.  You can also help by sending food donations to the food bank with your student to school.   We invite students, parents, and community members to come to the track on Nov. 2nd and contribute by walking the track in support of the fundraiser!  (415 Francis St. Somerset NJ 08873)
