TBB Business Training Center

Alaska's economy is in bad shape, jobs are decreasing      (Anchorage alone lost 2,700 jobs in 2016) and we need creative solutions to start generating money for our state, our communities, our families, and the next generation. We have amazing individuals and groups with awesome business ideas who just need a little structured guidance, consistent support, and hands on training. If we can meet them where they are and provide the above for them they will develop successful businesses OR become loyal long term employees to companies in need. 

The Business Boutique Training Center is a 501(3) nonprofit organization and a sister organization to The Business Boutique founded in 2009 (reformed in 2013)
in Anchorage, Alaska. On April 1st, 2017 we will open our new community business development and career training center located in downtown Anchorage  at 333 west 4th avenue. The center will provide 5 training programs to start, test proctoring and a la carte classes as requested (with the option of field classes in locations not within driving distance of the center). Classes will be taught by industry experts with experience in their respective fields. Below are the programs we are set to unveil for individuals who desire to receive a full program certification and credential (The Business Boutique Training Center will be an authorized Certiport and Kryterion Testing location and will pursue accreditation through the Council on Occupational Education)

1. Certified Small Business Owner-3 month program
2. Certified Bookkeeping Specialist-3 month program
3. Certified Customer Service Specialist-2 month program
4. Certified Hospitality and Tourism Specialist- 2 month program
5. Certified Computer Technology Specialist-4 month program 

In addition we offer test proctoring in the areas of Computer Basics, Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and more! We want to help our community and KNOW that this training center will create

-increased customers to existing businesses
-a stronger workforce
-a boosted economy

The Business Boutique has a proven track record of business development expertise and community service and with YOUR support we can make this dream a reality and show our residents how much we care. We are committed to matching all raised funds. A location and 50% of the supplies on our list has been secured.

Donations (cash and in kind) are 100% tax deductable and will be used to ensure the school has and maintains
-15 computers
-All necessary software for the computers
-marketing materials for the school
-new website with online access for training attendees and an online registration option
-50 total textbooks (10 per class)
-Projector 
-Large sized white board
-Fees for School  Accreditation and Site Visit


Help us serve our community by allowing our doors to open and serve up to 50 individuals per month starting APRIL 1ST, 2017
