My dear friends,
I am asking for your support in making my film TAXIM come to life.
The team is ready to go but we still need some financial help to finally shoot and finish my short film.
Why money? I thought it's a short simple 7 minute film with only 2 actors and a tiny crew.
YES, that's what I thought! We cut down the costs to a minimum without paying the cast and crew.
However production costs exceed our budget. We still won't be able to pay our team but will need another minimum of 3000 EUR to cover only our production costs: car/taxi rental for the shoot, technical equipment for camera and sound and post production costs!
TAXIM in a nutshell?
Taxim takes you on a journey; two strangers, a taxi ride through the night of Berlin. Playing with your perception to unravel an unexpected relationship.
WHY this film?
This is not only an emotional project for me, as it's my father's acting debut. For me this is a filmic contribution of my experiences as a woman of Turkish descent in Germany. I want to add a differing perspective to the homogenous German-Turkish filmmaking scene by sharing invisible content.

Meine werten Freunde,
Mit dieser crowdfunding Kampagne bitte ich um eure Hilfe, damit mein Kurzfilm TAXIM umgesetzt werden kann.
Das Team steht in den Startlöchern, allerdings brauchen wir finanzielle Unterstützung, um meinen Film zu drehen und fertig zu stellen.
Warum Geld? Kann man Taxim nicht einfach so drehen. Es sind doch nur 7 Minuten in einem Taxi, ein kleines Team und 2 Schauspieler?
Ja, das sage ich doch auch! Allerdings haben wir schon alle Kosten auf das Nötigste beschränkt und arbeiten ausnahmslos ohne Gage.
Trotz minimierter Posten, übersteigen die Produktionskosten unser Budget. Wir werden mit dem Geld unser Team zwar immer noch nicht bezahlen können, brauchen aber mindestens 3000 EUR um die anstehenden Produktionskosten zu decken: Auto-/Taxikosten, Leihgebühren für Kamera- und Tontechnik, Postproduktionskosten für Schnitt, Schnittplatz/Tonanlegung, Sounddesign, Tonmischung

Eine Nacht. Eine Fahrt. Ein Blick. Eine Annäherung. Ein Lied. Eine Beziehung.
WARUM ist Taxim mir so wichtig?
Dieser Kurzfilm gibt auf verspielt humoristische Weise meine Erfahrungen als deutsche Frau mit türkischen Wurzeln wider. Ich möchte die deutsch-türkische Filmlandschaft um eine Perspektive erweitern und unerzählte Inhalte beleuchten.
