Tavolino's needs a little help from their friends

One of Athens local gems, Tavolino's, suffered a near catastrophic equipment loss on Wednesday.  The compressor on the refrigerator failed and all food that wasn't able to be donated was lost as well.  Insurance will not cover the lose of food or cover any part of the equipment repair.  The cost to repair and product replacement is around $3,500.   This type of expense would cripple most of us, but this event is 2 fold in that this IS Emily's income and expense.  Her biggest concern was her customers who had plans this weekend.   

If you know Emily or just know of her, you have probably been a recipient or participant of her generosity.   Her #souponhold program has been feeding the hungry in Athens for over a year.  She supports every PTO, sports and community program that asks.  If there is a fundraiser, she has likely donated her time, money and heart to it.  

She is not happy we are doing this, which is typical of her.  Always giving and never wanting and often refusing anything in return. It could take a year or more to recoup from an event like this.  Please donate and help her continue to feed those in need and those who are finally able to enjoy some great Italian food in Athens.  No amount is too small.
