Tavares, Florida Hit and Run

On September 13, 2017 our father was leaving the Royal Harbor neighborhood to meet friends for their weekly ride and lunch.  Upon making it past the main entrance someone hit him from behind, possibly side swiped him and left him in the middle of the road like he was nothing as they drove off from the scene.  This impact sent him skidding across the pavement and sending his motorcycle into a brick wall.  We are very thankful for the doctor that drove up on the scene and stopped to provide medical assistance and called 911.  He was airlifted to Orlando Regional and still remains in critical condition fighting for his life even with the motorcycle airbags and helmet.  He has a long battle and road to recovery and we do not want him worrying about the medical bills.  As most retired couples, they are on a fixed income and have Medicare insurance.  We hope to raise some money to offset the financial burden and stress they are currently enduring as he will be in the hospital for at least a month with more surgeries to come.
