Hi... For most of my Friends & Family this Fundraiser is my announcement that on 11.28 of this Year i will be having Top Surgery. So, Hey Ya'll i am having Top Surgery.
Even from afar, i am sure many of You could tell that the last Few Years have been difficult for me. There has been massive deconstructing and renovating of my Mind and my Spirit.
This Year, i began to look at how focusing on my Physical Self could help improve my Mental Self, i asked "how i could be Stronger in my Body?". i thought back to a Time when i did feel Strong in my Body and began my work from there. Saving the details, through many conversations, research, work with a therapist, and work with a social worker specializing in gender health i came to the decision that living with a male bodied chest will allow me to live more authentically, Feel more Free, and allow me to Reconnect with my Physical Body.
For me this Surgery is not just a Physical Change. i believe it will contribute to my Overall Wellness and Happiness (as i am sure many of You can understand) Starting with the physical relief of not wearing a binder for 15 hours a day.
Financially, this isn't an ideal Time for me to have Surgery :) But it is the Right Time and i know with the Support of my Community it is Possible!
i am Launching this Fundraiser the day before my Birthday, so we can kick it off in Celebration of... Me :)

Financial Stuffs
i am fortunate to have some insurance coverage and a job where i was able to save up 2 weeks of PTO and there is a 1 week paid winter break Tp Help with the 6 weeks required off physical work. i Live Pay check to Pay check.
i will be renting an AirBNB in Seattle where friends can come and Feed/Care for me - as i will not be able to take care of myself alone in the Tiny House on the Farm.
The assistance i receive will support the following:
$2500 - Surgery, Meds, Scar Creams
($8500 - Cost of Surgery w/o insurance)
$600 - AirBNB
Any additional funds will go to Help relieve the financial Stress of 2 Weeks of unpaid work (i live Pay check to pay check)
... i picked $3,333 because its great and i am 33 and 3's are the best....
