The Story of that Long Pain has begun 5 years ago:
My great son, Vasil Yankov, born and lived in Sofia, Bulgaria, film art student at the university and working in Nu Boyana Film Studios, got bone cancer - Ewing sarcoma, large tumor in his left thigh.
He immediately left for 15 months of treatment in Paris, France.
After 14 chemotherapies, 32 radiotherapies and 2 surgeries, subsequently 1 year of chemotherapeutic tablets, Vasil survived.
Unfortunately last year the doctors found relapse.
After 6 months in 2018th of treatment using 3 different chemotherapeutic combinations, the tumor in the left lung pleura is progressing and doesn't respond to the standard treatment. The only one treatment can be continued with the target therapy with Cabozantinib (Cometriq ®, Cabometyx ®) recommended by his doctor Dr. Nathalie Gaspar from Institut de Cancérologie Gustave Roussy, Paris, Villejuif, France.
