Suffering the loss of a baby is one of the most heartbreaking and traumatic events a parent will ever go through. When a baby passes in pregnancy or shortly after birth, the time parents are able to spend with their little one is so very precious and important. Often this time is cut short due to the natural deterioration of the baby’s fragile body and changes in appearance. A Cuddle Cot is a refrigerated bassinet that slows down these changes and allows parents the gift of time in order to grieve, bond and say good-bye in the privacy of their hospital room. These bassinets are used world-wide and encouraged by many midwives, bereavement specialists and Psychology Today.
