Tania Leigh's Medical Expenses

Tania Leigh provided her time, energy, compassion, and love-of-living to help young boys in our community become better versions of themselves through Scouting.  Her selfless sharing of time to ensure that den meetings not only happened but were also fun made her a valuable Scout partner.

When I learned of Tania’s illness, I was shocked.  It seemed just a few days before she was smiling as usual.  Fortunately, another scout parent and I were able to visit her while she was in the hospital and guess what we found?  A smiling Tania surrounded by her family.  She was still smiling!  So I was crushed when I learned that Tania lost her battle with breast cancer on Tuesday, December 5.

My thoughts immediately turned to her family.  I can’t imagine the immensity of it all when a family is suddenly tested with such a loss.  To assist immediately, our Scouting family is asking the community for financial contributions to help the Leigh family with the countless expenses that arise during such a difficult period.

The donations made to this GoFundMe campaign will be accessible only to Tania’s husband, Olatunbosun Leigh.
