Johnson family medical bills

Over about the last 10 years our family has endured 19 ER visits, 13 hospital stays (Carlie Jo & TaLisha) , 4 nerve surgeries and 4 expensive spinal surgeries to fix collapsed disks and bone spurs that were pressing on TaLisha's spinal cord. This final surgery was to rebuild TaLisha's neck because the 3 prior surgeries did not heal.

Doug is a campus minister at Angelo State University, TaLisha works with special needs students as a Diagnostician, and we have three growing, precious, and very loved kids! We have always aimed to balance the goals of living comfortably and serving others generously.

Despite great jobs, so many blessings and good discipline we find ourselves still very far from these goals. After selling our house to finally finish paying off about $100,000 in medical bills, four surgeries in the past 8 months have now set us back again for years.

Many have requested ways to help our family. We are so grateful for the countless meals, prayers, and support for us! Now we are also humbled and thankful (and somewhat apprehensive) for this opportunity to share our need with our family and friends who may be interested and able to help.
