Taggart Family

On June 13, Amy passed away, leaving her husband and two kids (8 and 12) unexpectedly. Even though Amy's initial breast cancer had metastasized into spinal/bone cancer diagnosis in late October, the prognosis had been hopeful for another 10+ years together with her family. In February, however, the cancer migrated to her liver. Still considered treatable, the cancer soon became uncontrollable between treatment options. Amy's physical decline was rapid, leaving her family (and all of us) breathless and hurting after she passed away just a week after she was hospitalized to relieve the discomfort caused by her failing liver. This fund was set up by friends of Amy and her family in order to help alleviate some of the costs Mark Taggart, Ella Taggart, and William Taggart will be facing over the coming year, both expected and unexpected and including health insurance, medical, and educational expenses.
