Happy Hooves community project

Happy Hooves is a community project that was started last year to bring the benefits of horses to the community, particularly people with additional learning needs, dementia, metal health issues, low self esteem and many other groups. Happy hooves has now expanded to offer experiences with other animals too including lambs, chickens , goats etc.  learning to care for animals can be a great theraputic experience as well as teaching empathy, responsibility and emotional connection. Happy Hooves is a not for profit organisation and is only able to run through the support and generosity of others. We have high insurance costs plus the costs of caring for the animals, buildings, renting land etc. we want to be able to cover as much of these costs as possible so that sessions (run by volunteers) can be kept as low cost and accessible to all as possible. Any money raised will help us to do this and would make an amazing difference to our clients.
