Exeter Family loses home Dec 1st

A wonderful Exeter family lost virtually all of their possessions and was displaced from their home by a fire on Tuesday night. This page has been set up to support them. Money raised here will go directly to the family.  With the loss of their home and all personal possessions, they have some significant tasks ahead of them: to find a rental living space until their home is rebuilt, to feed and clothe their children and most importantly, to provide some semblance of normalcy to their children's lives.

This page was initiated by a thoughtful member of the Exeter community. As the news spread through an Exeter Parents' group, generosity and thoughtfulness quickly followed. We are so appreciative of the support thus far. Let's continue this momentum with the hope of providing this family, a family who cares so deeply about helping others in need, with a joyous holiday season and a beautiful Christmas.  They deserve it.

Please note: Due to the gracious outpouring of support, the family has received tons of clothes for their kids. At this time, we no longer need any clothes. If you prefer to donate other physical goods, The Thrive Women’s Gym in Exeter - 75 Portsmouth Ave - is taking donations for books and new and/or very gently used toys. Please make sure they are appropriate for ages 1 and 3. They will also be accepting gift cards.

Lastly - there will be an article in the Portsmouth Herald on Friday shedding more light on the situation from the family directly. I will post the link here on Friday for everyone to read.
