I did not expect to be making this so soon after moving across states for the first time in my life but sometimes shit like this happens.
My name is Kai, i recently moved to Bellingham Washington after living in California for all my life, and everything seemed to be alright. i found a room for a rent for a price that seemed okay to me, after talking to the person subletting their room we worked it out and i ended up moving all my stuff there.
Earlier this month i heard about rent notices from my roommates, who had a roommate who deceived them and refused to pay his rent after moving out and leaving his stuff. At first it seemed we would be kicked out because of this but currently my roommates are making a deal and plan on ending their lease by July 1, which means me, who just moved 2 weeks ago need to find a new place after exhausting many of my savings.
I put the amount needed as 1300$ because i need enough to move into a place by July 1 after paying rent for June which will likely entail paying the first month of rent and paying for any other things in moving (boxes, transportation etc..) as detailed below
Because of these factors i dont have a concrete measure of how much money i actually need but know that all of this money will go towards acquiring a rental (deposit/first and last month), dealing with moving costs (i will need to hire a helper to drive and possibly to help me moving my stuff as i have chronic pain) and any remaining amounts will go towards covering rent as i try to find a job while in the middle of this situation. I do not plan on touching any of this money unless a true crisis situation hits re: moving and if so i will update this.
I don't make this lightly, as someone who has experienced financial troubles all my life i dont feel great about having to ask for money but im in a situation where i dont see many other options.
