Symphony League Donation Drive

$5,000 goal

We have had a wonderful start to the year and have many exciting musical opportunities in the months to come! In a time when the fine arts are being cut from budgets, the music departments at Wheeling High School continue to excel. Did you know, Wheeling High School qualifies as a Title 1 school? To receive that designation 40% of students must be at or near poverty level. At Wheeling that number is over 50%.

Music education is directly linked to student success and every child deserves that opportunity. For this reason, we maintain a scholarship fund for the express purpose of subsidizing private lessons and offering music camp scholarships for students whose families cannot afford it. Supporting music education is an investment in the future of our community. The orchestra program at Wheeling High School continues to grow and now serves 110 students. With this growth comes added expenses in order to maintain a high quality experience for every student.

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the Wheeling Symphony League (EIN 36-4451177), the 501(c)(3) organization which supports the orchestras at Wheeling High School. Your generosity affects the lives of young musicians!
