A girls best friend

As some of you know, My 12 yr old Australian Sherpherd, Sebastian, had to be hospitalized in emergency care yesterday. Doctors believe he ate something toxic which caused his kidneys to swell twice their size. They started IV fluid and medication therapy to try to flush out the toxins yesterday, and today the toxin levels are lower. However, he's got a bit longer road ahead as he's not where he'd needs to be to come home. Per the doctors, it will take approx. 48-72 hours before we see if the treatments are working, and they are scheduling an ultrasound (approx. cost $600 extra) today to get a better look at the kidneys. I hate to ask but I simply cannot afford all these costs. I've used money from a car sale, rainy day savings, Art stepped up and helped. I sit here racking my brain as to what could have caused this... There is nothing in the house that he could have gotten into. The mommy in me blames myself at times thinking I could have somehow prevented it. An old grade school friend suggested I start a go fund me... so here I am. Any little help will help this loving, kind soul of a dog. He's my and Ozzy's best friend and I know I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I didn't at least try. Thanks in advance.
