SWIWSCO: Building a Positive Future

SWIWSCO (Small World Initiative for Women´s Security and Children Orphanage) is situated in northern Tanzania, close to Mt Kilimanjaro . Since 2006, SWIWSCO's dedicated founders Pam and Collins have been providing care and support for up to 28 children and young people without government assistance.
On average, an individual Australian under age 35 spends at least $33.00 per day on their living expenses. The provision of food, accommodation, education, medical care and lifestyle for the children and young people at the SWIWSCO orphanage is reliant on charitable donations, a volunteer program and Pam and Collins' own resources. This allows approximately $0.85 per child/young person per day for living expenses.
SWIWSCO is currently struggling financially but working on a number of strategic initiatives to build a sustainable future. In the short term, assistance is sought to offset the monthly recurrent cost commitment.
Your donation will make a difference:
$10 will purchase the monthly supply of brush/broom sweepers
$20 will purchase a monthly supply of sanitary products or cover the property maintenance costs including water access.
$50 will purchase a monthly supply of soap and detergents or the supply of water or the supply of electricity or purchase 40 pair of school socks.
$100 will purchase all 840 monthly breakfasts or the total monthly vegetable supply.
$150 - $200 will purchase daily lunch for all or buy 20 pairs of school shoes or school bags
$250 will purchase 840 nutritious monthly dinners.
It is anticipated that the gofundme campaign initial goal of $3000 will provide some financial relief by way of a monthly contribution for 12 or more months. Ultimately this will improve the opportunity for Pam and Collins to focus on further development and implementation of the strategic initiatives with support from interested volunteers.
