Greetings from the Brothers of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity at Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio.
We are preparing for our first ever SWINGIN’ 4 SOLDIERS philanthropy event. This 24-hour marathon will raise money for the Military Heroes Campaign, a non-profit organization that has, since 2007, donated over $1,000,000 to organizations that provide care for veterans and their families in their time of need. In addition, monies raised will also benefit the Greater Cleveland Fisher House, which will provide comfort housing where military and veterans’ families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving treatment at the Cleveland VA Hospital.
We can only meet our $5,000 goal with the support of generous donations from kind, compassionate, and patriotic Americans like you. This is our first GoFundMe campaign and it will be crucial to our success.
We humbly ask that you step up and help us achieve our goal, and in turn help out the brave men and women who serve and have served our great nation. Please donate any amount you can. Then, you can multiply your donation by sharing our page with your friends and family and urge them to donate, as well.
Our swing marathon will be held on April 29-30, but our heart-felt gratitude and support of our troops are year-round. Won’t you please help us? We’ll be sure to provide updates throughout the month.
