From when I was a wee lump of flesh trying to gnaw at carpet squares I have always wanted to be a writer. Now that I am an immense lump of flesh who solely subsists on carpet fiber I still want to live my dream. I am fortunate enough that I had a story in my soul and an amazing friend who is an artist and makes beautiful pictures. We are in the finishing stages of putting together our book “Damien and the Good Place to Die.” We just need your help to push it over the finish line!
We are planning to publish a limited first printing of 100-200 copies of Damien, and you can make it happen! All proceeds of this GoFundMe will be put toward printing more copies of Damien to share the joy that we feel in our unmentionable places when we read this book.
The Book!
Written by me (Zachary Kline) and Illustrated by Samantha Kyle. Damien and the Good Place to Die is a story of Damien, a happy young boy who lives with his mother in the woods. On her deathbed, Damien’s mother departs him wisdom that takes him on a journey of self discovery! The goal? Find a good place to die.
You donations will go to printing MORE copies of “Damien and the Good Place to Die,” and anything over the set goal will go towards our future projects!
Timeframe!
The book is already written and the art is well underway! The book will be published, printed, and in your hands by the end of September! Due to that ideally we would like to raise the funds for the book by August 30th!

Donate under $15 and you’ll have our deepest gratitude for helping make our project a reality. While not a physical reward, it will warm the cockles of your heart in the dead of winter and stave off the frostbite that creeps ever closer. If I ever see you in the street you will receive one (1) high five and an awkward hug that will last exactly 7.8 seconds. No words will be exchanged between us. It would ruin the moment.
