As you may or may not know, I have had 2 brothers (Matthew age 4 years old and Michael age 24 years old) and my father (Jerry age 59) die from the disease called Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. Only days ago my older sister, Michelle, was diagnosed with this same life threatening disease. What this means is getting the right specialists on her case, finding the right treatment that will work for her. They live in Washington and are about an hour and thirty minutes away from the closest hospital. In order to receive the best care they will most likely have to spend a lot of time in California, where the best specialists in the country are located.
My sister has no idea I'm setting this up for her and her family. My main concern is taking care of my sister and her family while they are trying to figure out their next steps in trying to fight and treat this disease. Any amount will help alleviate any expenses they incur, for example there may treatments or therapies that insurance may not cover or even just simple needs like transportation cost involved with all the traveling to multiple doctors and specialists. All I ask is that you would consider giving even just a little, which will help a lot. I willl give all donations directly to my sister and to her family. Whether you donate anything or not please consider leaving an encouraging word or two. Also prayer is always welcome and encouraged as this is the most important to the family.
