Hello My name is Sharda Edmonds owner of Sweets By Dai! Well where do I begin...about 4 years ago I was living in Amherst Va working at Sweet briar college as a deli attendant but sometimes the head baker at the time would like me play in the bakery and there is where I found my HAPPY PLACE!!!! Soooo I stayed there for a while thennnn I had the opportunity to move to Durham North Carolina I moved here with a job where the boss hired me just on the strength for my boyfriend I was hired as a grill cook NEVER in my lifeeee have I ever cooked on a flat top grill I cryd everrrrr morning on the way to work so they trained me for a week then put me at a totally different location frm where I had been training but it was like I had my OWN KITCHEN ON SPACE there where I have free range to create some pretty amazing food!! Then one day I had a request for red velvet cupcakes OMGGGGG I had sooooo many compliments it was crazyyyyy and then I wen on a search for a bakery job then boom I landed one!!! The ladies there were sooo nice and took the time to teach Alotttt of knowledge...then finally I stepped out on FAITH and decided to do my own thing which is Sweets By Dai bakes...the finest Cakes, Pies and Mini Desserts using recipes that I myself Sharda have perfected.
