Sweet Senior Cat Needs Life Saving Dental Surgery

I love Dr. Yang more than I love myself. My wife and I rescued this 13-year-old sweetheart a year ago from the SPCA so she could keep me company and help me cope with my connective tissue disease and the loneliness and isolation that comes with it. She's become a very close friend and the most gentle companion. 


Unfortunately, I might lose her if I am not able to get her the dental care she needs. Dr. Yang has advanced dental disease and has an infection that is likely causing her a great deal of pain. The vet estimated that we need anywhere from $800-$1,000 to treat it, as she needs surgery to get her teeth cleaned and possibly extracted, plus antibiotics and medicine to help her recover. The sooner we can get this treated, the better.


Aside from the dental issues, Dr. Yang is physically in good health and could live another 3 to 5 years if we could afford to get her treatment. I can't even explain how much it would mean to me to be able to get Dr. Yang the medical help she needs. She's incredibly sweet, gentle, and everyone who meets her loves her even if they don't like cats. I've never met an animal like her.
