Support Sweet Monty
Tied outside the Wake County Animal Shelter all night long with multiple injuries and a note that had a slang term for the word blood/bait.
The humans who dumped him tied him in front of the Wake County Animal Control Monty was left tied in the snow all night long. He has multiple bite wounds, and swelling on his face, he is limping and having trouble walking comfortably due to his right front leg and back left leg. He will need X-rays and it is possible his front right leg will need to be amputated.
Notes from the vet:
Multiple bite wounds on head, mass near mandibular lymphatics, both mandibular enlarged.
FR leg has limited mobility at elbow and muscle atrophy
abscess near mandibular, Infection likely causing the swelling,
X rays at shelter suggest potential amputation of the leg but to follow up with the rescues vet to determine what route to take.
We are going to try everything to save his front leg but we need your support! He is not neutered so he will also need to be neutered. Monty is also very underweight he needs good nutrition to help get him healthy. We didn't want to turn him down due to expensive medical needs, We hope you will help us!
