Lost Twin Pups Need Help
Donation protected
Two incredibly sweet twin dogs showed up at my home in the White Plains community of Anniston, Alabama (Calhoun County) on December 15th. They have collars but no microchips. I feel like they're only about a year old and can see that they're great with other dogs. I've tried finding their owners with no luck.
It would not be responsible for me to keep them. Although I've set up a tent under my porch, leaving them outside in the rain and cold feels terrible. I lalso live on a heavy traffic street, so its not safe to let them roam.
I'm asking for funds for a new owner*, foster family or rescue group to take them. My thought is that it will take about $150 for each dog to be vetted and given flea meds and deworming. Add $100 for a month of food and another $100 for sheltering costs.
I would give the funds directly to the rescue group that takes them or to the Long Animal Clinic in Anniston to set up an account for the fostering family or new owner.
*If these are your dogs, please leave a message here. I will need proof that they are yours- pictures or vetting information.
I let them in the other night when it was 27 degrees outside. The immediately curled up together and went to sleep.
