Medical Expenses

In November, I injured myself falling between the curb and one of our city buses. A deep wound in my shin had to be cleaned out, x-rayed, and bandaged up. Despite that, it became infected, which required two day bed rest, a follow up appointment with Urgent Care, a slew of antibiotics . . . which I then developed allergies to, which required its own trip to deal with the rash, and some missed time at work.

My total bill for all of this is $600 . . .

And then Beth got a tooth infection, had some bad interactions with medications that sent her to the ER. That bill hasn't come in yet, but I know it's coming, and I know it's going to be a whooper considering all the tests they ran.  (the tooth is out, and we were able to pay for that extraction with the last of our meager savings)I'd like very much to get my own bill paid down before that comes in, thus: this campaign.
