Mission House and Moto

We have been living in our village in Cambodia for over a year now following building our own tropical home. Already we see God working in this brief time. While it is our sincere desire to live as similarly to our neighbors as possible, we have had many health difficulties at our current living standard. We want to serve our nighbors for many more years, but we need your help to make that happen!

We would like to make the following improvements:

-Filter our water as it is currently a deep brown

-Screen in our living area to keep out the clouds of flies caused by a nearby chicken farm

-Put in a bathroom with hot water for a shower during cold season since dip baths during the cold are very difficult for our children (and Chris!)

-Purchase a sturdier moto to keep Chris safer on both the major highways and the village roads as well as to speed up his travel time as he travels for ministry

-Create a workable area for laundry under our house as opposed to out in our shed to improve efficiency (the machine is semi-automatic requiring a good deal of oversight and ear muffs to preserve our hearing with the generator running in a small space)

-Purchase new linens as ours have molded in the tropical weather

-Purchase a few pieces of furniture for under our house as we currently only have a "gre," the traditional table to sit on in Cambodia

-Haul in dirt for both a pond and garden to grow our own food since most of the vegetables we eat are dangerously chemical laden

-Purchase homeschool curriculum for our family for the next three years (curriculum which can be reused for each child after purchasing 4 years worth!)

We are so grateful to our monthly partners who serve this ministry by giving over the long-term. We are excited to have even more partners who have invested in this work by helping us with these improvements.
