Ayden's Tuition

My name is Rebecca Martin I am a single disabled mother of two. I am raising two sons with no child support and no contact with extended family due to abuse. My eldest son Ayden got accepted to an amazing private elementary school called Greenfield center school. He also got awarded a 80% scholarship for next year. That is the largest scholarship awarded at center school. This is an amazing opportunity for my son. I am left with trying to raise 5865 dollars the remainder of the tuition for this year. I have chosen to break this payment up over 10 months which brings my monthly payment to 591 dollars. This, quite honestly, is way beyond what my already over budgeted income will allow. Yet I feel that this opportunity cannot be passed up.
Ayden is currently finding public school unchallenging. In his second grade class this year I have seen him stop giving it his all. He is operating at about 25% of his capability because he is not challenged. When we interviewed for the Greenfield Center school every question they asked he answered with ease and asked for a harder question. Seeing the hunger for challenge in him was an eye opener. He tested a full grade higher than his public school placement in many subjects. Of the many obstacles he has faced in public school the biggest is bullying. I would like him to be safe in school.
My son deserves a challenging and rewarding school that is open minded and will give him the confidence and skills needed to do amazing things in the world. He has the heart and the mind to be a leader. He just needs the education and the direction that this school offers. The Greenfield Center school does more than just give children a base to higher education; they help them find their place in the world. This is a priceless gift. One that Ayden deserves despite our financial situation. So I ask that you consider helping me give this gift to my son. So that he can reach his full potential. Thank you.
