On Sunday March 4, 2019, our beloved Susie was diagnosed with sepsis and was placed on complete life support. This involves being on Ecmo to circulate the blood, ventilator to help her breathe and dialysis to help her kidneys. We were told that placing her on ECMO was her only option of survival. She was at zero percent chance of life to 25 percent with life support. This gave her organs time to heal and time to rest and to allow the antibiotics time to kick in, as well as, give the doctors time to help find the root cause of what is making her so very sick.

Our God reigns! He has hovered over Susie and has answered our prayers!
From zero percent chance of life one week ago to removing the ventilator yesterday and removing ECMO today!!!!! She is alert and asking questions and will be able to receive some liquid nutrition soon!
On behalf of Susie, Dan and their children, we are grateful beyond measure for your outpouring of love and support and especially your prayers during this unspeakably, difficult time.
God is in control and has has been evident in every moment of this difficult journey.
