Sushmas kidney recovery fund

Sushma had a Kidney transplant!! She is a beautiful, hard working single mom who has struggled to make ends meet. Shortly after separation from her husband Sushma's kidneys stopped working. She has been on kidney dialysis 15 hours per week for 18 months, with no strength to continue working at her job.   Getting well and caring for her children has been the focus . She managed to volunteer at her childrens' school occasionally, which shows you her kind, serving heart even when very ill!
On  the afternoon of Tuesday June 19 Sushma unexpectedly got the great, life changing news that a kidney transplant would happen that evening if we could get her there by 8pm. With no planes or buses available we jumped in the truck and left in a hurry to get her there on time! Transplant was done at 2 am that night. Sushma is now recovering but that requires her to stay in Vancouver for two to three months! She has to come up with funds to pay for her living expenses in Vancouver while still paying all the bills at home. Her small income barely covers her expenses already and now there are two households to pay for!
We are looking for funds  starting this week of June 25 because Sushma will leave the hospital and stay in her own suite provided by the Kidney foundation. The funds will  cover Sushmas living expenses  while in Vancouver,transportation home a few times  for a day or two to see her two children and to help her when recovering at home after with extra medical expenses like trips to Vancouver etc. and whatever needed to get her back to a regular life.
