Survivor Puppy

This poor puppy was found in a pasture of cows getting trampled. The people that found  him did not have the resources to get him helped so they contacted me. I took him to the vet immediately. Puppy was x-rayed and both hind legs were badly broken, pelvis displaced, broken ribs and fluid on one lung. He was covered in fleas, internal parasites, dehydrated and anemic. The surgery on his legs was postponed for several days until he could be stabilized. He had surgery on Monday and came thru well. The left hind was so shattered it had to be amputated. The right hind was able to be pinned. He is doing well and vet is impressed with what a strong little guy he is! We desperately need donations to pay for his vet care and surgery. He will be able to come home early next week  but will need lots of care for the next two to three months.
