Surviving Life Without Connie
Now my beloved Connie is gone, and I have to restart my life. This means clearing the debt, leaving the house where we lived together, and learning how to live without the woman who made my life possible. I'm a writer, and I have to write again, because it's all I know. So I'll be finishing those long-neglected novels, and yes -- I will start blogging again. I just need the funds to make that possible.
Please help me.
And many, MANY thanks to those who've given already.

Once again, thanks to all for your amazing generosity. Please remember to spread the word about this appeal, and the new blog.
Was able to start work on the new blog yesterday, thanks to a new Tech Support, who took the job despite knowing what happened to the last one. :=(
The "latest" blog at kimdutoit.com should be up and running early next week.
Once again, thanks to all.
The people who know me from before are more important to me than total strangers, so if any of my erstwhile Loyal Readers cares to spread the word to other LRs, please do so.
So sorry for you loss Kim. How i have missed your wonderful screeds. I know it will be healing for you as well as us Loyal Readers. Giving what I can. Prayers.
Kim, please provide a link to your new blog. Thank you.
Oh no! So very sorry to read of this. I enjoyed the time I spent with you and Connie, both online and at your home.
Dear Kim, I remember your blogging and while I am unable to contribute to the cause I wish to send my condolences for your loss. For what it's worth my 3 Opinionated Pussycats send along many purrs and purrayers as well.
I can't even imagine. You have my deepest condolences.
I'm so sorry. It's so hard to do all the necessary work, the clearing, the moving . . . don't get so locked into the job that you give away things attached to treasured memories, don't keep so much that you have to do this all over again. Take your time getting back to writing. It's too easy to infuse darkness into your work, at the same time it's hard to care enough to edit and polish as you should.
Oh, Kim, I am so sorry to hear this. Sad that I never got to meet this wonderful woman. Hope this meagre donation can help.
