Surrendering Gently into a Dream Fulfillment

My name is David Bertelli and I am looking for your help and support in fulfilling not only a lifelong dream but also my relentless drive to manage and be successful in the circumstances I have dealt myself. Due to very poor life choices and struggle with addiction I am prevented the privilege of driving a car and currently have a lifetime license restriction. For the last 9 ½ years of my recovery, I have learned how to manage without this privilege, as difficult as it can be at times. I have fought for a solution to my transportation challenged life. The one I have come to is to live and work in communities where I do not need a car. I have been successful in Clayton, NY in the summer by finding work as a mechanic at a local boat basin along with becoming a yoga instructor and being part of a loving community. I am now striving to do the same in Telluride CO in the winter months. Living and skiing in the west has been a lifelong dream of mine. In my early teens, I visualized my life of being on the slopes as a successful instructor,  which was derailed by poor choices and addiction. It has taken me several years to navigate achieving my certification as a PSIA  Alpine Level lll, CS2.   I have successfully secured employment and I am now in the search to secure housing for the winter. This is where I need your help. The initial expenditure for housing this first season is high. Needing to have $4500 for upfront for first/last/security. I am looking to raise $4000 to make this life long dream come true of teaching skiing in the west. I need to have this amount by  Oct. 20, 2019.  This first year is the most difficult as I will have ski clients for the following years, therefore, housing expenditures will be available. I have worked hard to make this possible to fulfill a dream and be a successful member of society.  Your support is greatly appreciated, whatever the amount is always helpful.
